Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Paysana. They explain what we provide, what we charge, what you are responsible for as a seller, and how either of us can end the agreement. Please read them before you start selling.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you — the business or individual using Paysana ("you", "the Merchant") — and Meetcyberjob Network (CA0406723-K), which operates Paysana ("Paysana", "we", "us"). By creating an account, ticking the consent box at signup, or using any part of the service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

What Paysana is — and is not

Paysana is software. We give you the tools to sell: checkout pages, a storefront, invoices, customer records, marketing automation and integrations with providers you choose.

Paysana is not a bank, an e-money institution, a payment processor or an acquirer. We do not hold, transmit or settle Buyer funds. Payments flow directly from your Buyer into the Gateway account you connect, and that Gateway settles to your bank under its own agreement with you.

Because we are not in the money flow, we cannot reverse a charge, release a settlement, or resolve a dispute your Gateway is handling. Those are governed by your agreement with that provider.

4

Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts.
  • You must provide accurate business and contact details, and keep them current.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions by team members you invite and by anyone using your API keys.
  • You may be asked to verify your identity or business registration. We may limit features until verification completes.

You may invite team members and assign them roles. Roles limit what a member can do, but do not limit your responsibility for what they do.

5

Plans, fees and billing

Current prices for every plan, credit pack and fee are shown on our pricing page and inside your billing dashboard before you commit. By selecting a paid plan you authorise us to charge your saved card on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Subscriptions
Billed monthly or yearly in advance to your default card, renewing automatically until cancelled. Yearly plans are charged for the discounted number of months shown at checkout.
Transaction fee
Merchants on the Free plan pay a 2% fee on completed sales. It is accrued per sale and billed to your card — never deducted from Buyer payments, because we never hold them. Paid plans pay no transaction fee.
Credits
Plan allowances refresh each billing cycle and do not roll over. Purchased credit packs are valid for 12 months from purchase. Credits are consumed oldest-expiring first.
Failed payments
If a renewal or fee charge fails we will retry and notify you. After repeated failures we may downgrade your plan, and where fees remain unpaid we may pause your public checkout until the balance is settled.

Fees are exclusive of any taxes that apply to our supply to you; where we are required to charge tax, it is added at checkout. Payments to us are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.

We may change prices. For existing paid subscriptions we will give reasonable advance notice before a change takes effect, and you may cancel before it applies.

6

Payment gateways and money flow

You connect your own Gateway accounts and remain bound by each provider's terms, including their fees, settlement timing, reserves, chargeback rules and prohibited-business lists. You are responsible for keeping those accounts in good standing.

  • We store the credentials you supply in encrypted form and use them only to perform actions you initiate.
  • You may connect a default and a backup Gateway; if the default is unavailable, charges may be attempted through the backup.
  • Chargebacks, disputes and refunds are settled between you, your Buyer and your Gateway. Any Paysana record of a refund reflects what you or your Gateway did — it does not itself move money.
  • If a Gateway suspends or closes your account, the affected payment methods stop working on your checkout until you resolve it or connect another provider.
7

You are the seller of record

Everything you sell through Paysana is sold by you, to your Buyer, under your own business name. That means you are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of your product descriptions, prices, stock levels and delivery promises.
  • Fulfilling orders and honouring the refund, shipping and privacy policies you publish.
  • Determining, charging, collecting and remitting any taxes on your sales. Paysana provides tax fields and calculations you configure; it does not give tax advice or file on your behalf.
  • Complying with consumer-protection, e-invoicing, licensing and industry rules that apply to your business and your Buyer's location.
  • Responding to Buyer complaints and requests about their purchases and their data.

Where a Buyer contacts us about an order, we will normally direct them to you. We may, at our discretion, share relevant information with a Buyer where required to resolve a complaint or comply with law.

8

Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to sell, promote or facilitate anything unlawful where you or your Buyer are located, or anything on the following list:

  • Goods or services that are illegal, counterfeit, stolen, or that infringe another party's intellectual property.
  • Regulated items you are not licensed to sell, including controlled substances, weapons, and financial or investment products offered without authorisation.
  • Deceptive offerings: pyramid or Ponzi schemes, fake discounts, undisclosed subscriptions, or claims you cannot substantiate.
  • Content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative — in particular anything involving minors.
  • Anything your connected Gateway prohibits under its own rules.

You must also not attempt to breach or probe the Service's security, disrupt it for other merchants, scrape it, circumvent rate limits, resell access to it, or use another merchant's data for any purpose.

9

Marketing and messaging

Our email and messaging tools may only be used to contact people who bought from you or who gave you permission to contact them. You are the sender of every campaign you create.

  • You must comply with the anti-spam and electronic-marketing laws that apply to you and your recipients, including honouring unsubscribe requests promptly.
  • Where you connect your own messaging or email provider, that provider's policies apply in addition to these Terms.
  • Transactional messages triggered by a Buyer's own order — receipts, shipping updates, invoice notices — are sent as part of the Service.
  • Repeated complaints, high bounce rates or evidence of purchased lists may result in your marketing features being restricted.
10

Merchant Content and intellectual property

You keep all rights in your Merchant Content and your customer relationships. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, valid wherever the Service is delivered, to host, display, transmit and back up that content strictly to operate the Service for you — for example rendering your checkout page, delivering your emails, or generating your PDFs. This licence ends when you remove the content or close your account.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including images and any text generated with assistance from our AI tools, and that publishing it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Paysana, its name, logo, software and documentation remain ours. Nothing here transfers our intellectual property to you, and you may not copy, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the Service.

11

Third-party integrations

The Service can connect to providers you choose for payments, email marketing, messaging, shipping and accounting. Those connections are made with credentials you supply, and each provider's own terms and privacy policy govern what they do with the data we send on your instruction.

We are not responsible for a third party's availability, accuracy, pricing or acts. If a provider changes or withdraws its API, the corresponding feature may change or stop working, and we will make reasonable efforts to tell you.

12

Affiliate programme

If you run an affiliate programme, you set the commission terms, approve who may promote you, and are responsible for paying commissions that fall due under your own programme rules.

  • Attribution uses a first-party cookie for the window you configure, plus tracking links; we make no guarantee that every referral is captured, for example where a Buyer blocks cookies or switches device.
  • Commissions on refunded orders are reversed automatically.
  • Affiliates must not use spam, misleading claims, bidding on your trademarks without permission, or coupon-injection tactics; you are responsible for the conduct of promoters you approve.
13

Developer API and webhooks

API keys are secrets tied to your account. Keep them server-side, rotate them if exposed, and revoke keys you no longer use — activity performed with your key is treated as performed by you.

The API is subject to published rate limits, which we may adjust to protect platform stability. We may change or version endpoints; where a change is not backwards-compatible we will give reasonable notice. Webhook deliveries are retried on failure and are not guaranteed to arrive exactly once, so your handlers should be idempotent.

14

Availability, support and changes

We work to keep the Service available continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party outages and events beyond our control can interrupt it. Where planned maintenance is likely to be noticeable, we aim to give notice in advance.

We improve the Service continuously and may add, change or retire features. Where a change materially reduces paid functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable notice. Support is provided through the channels listed in your dashboard.

15

Suspension and termination

You may cancel a paid plan at any time from your billing settings, which returns you to the Free plan. To close the account entirely and have your data deleted, send a request from our data deletion page. Outstanding fees, including accrued transaction fees, remain payable either way.

Close your account & delete your data

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, presents fraud or security risk, has unpaid fees, or where we are required to by law. Except where the breach is serious or urgent, we will normally notify you first and give you an opportunity to fix it.

On termination your public checkout, storefront and payment links stop working. You can export your orders, customers and transaction records at any time before closing; after closure we retain records only as described in the Privacy Policy and as tax and financial rules require.

16

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that results will be accurate, or that defects will be corrected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or rights you have as a consumer where consumer law applies.

17

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost sales, lost goodwill or lost or corrupted data.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription and platform fees you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for the acts or omissions of Gateways, couriers, messaging or accounting providers, or any other third party you connect, nor for losses caused by your own configuration, your Buyers, or your failure to keep credentials secure.

18

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Paysana against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from what you sell, your Merchant Content, your marketing, your handling of Buyer data, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

19

Confidentiality

Each party may receive information the other treats as confidential. Both parties will protect such information with reasonable care and use it only for the purposes of this agreement, except where disclosure is required by law. Your credentials, keys and business data are treated as your confidential information.

20

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service and the law evolve. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Where a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, you may close your account.

21

General

  • Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us on this subject.
  • Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
  • No waiver: not enforcing a right immediately does not waive it.
  • Assignment: you may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation.
  • Notices: we send notices to your account email; you should keep it current.
22

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Paysana is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under the consumer law of your own country.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us — most disputes are resolved quickly once we understand the problem.
